Scroll down to view September's winners.

More than $150,000 in cash and prizes will be shared among the 66 winners in 22 categories, including an overall Grand Prize of $25,000 (US) cash and $20,000 in music equipment, services, and more. ISC has a lot of great new judges for 2010, so scroll down and check them out - this means new judges listening to all the finalists' songs and picking the 2010 winners (this could be you!).

Gareth Thomas
Auckland, New Zealand
New Zealander Gareth Thomas is best known for writing the sure fire pop hits of the award-winning Kiwi band Goodshirt. Although commercially successful, the music of Gareth Thomas sits naturally left-of-centre. Thomas often records at home, and sometimes in the garden shed. His recordings are typified by Beatle-esque melodies, twisted lyrics, and non conventional instrumentation.

Since Goodshirt's success, he has collaborated with critically acclaimed alt-folk songsmith Steve Abel and songstress Sarah Brown. He is currently working on a solo project.

"Roll With It"
Chris Antonik
Toronto, ON, Canada
After thrilling audiences in Toronto blues clubs as a sideman, guitarist Chris Antonik has stepped out on his own, releasing his debut solo CD of acoustic and electronic Blues and Blues Rock.

Guest performers include some of Chris' friends from the Canadian blues scene, including Mark Stafford, Suzie Vinnick, and Richard Underhill. The primary vocalist and keyboardist on the record is Josh Williams of the jam band Fat Cats.

Onstage, Chris currently plays in a stripped-down, old-school Chicago blues trio with Mark Stafford and guitarist Pete Schmidt (Mel Brown, Jack Dekeyzer). In 2010, Chris also shared the stage with Juno-winning guitarist Darran Poole (Fathead, Gary Kendall) as part of a similar trio.
