Daniel Gottlieb reminds us that we were all born with the ability to experience joy, love,
compassion, trust—and the ability to experience awe with every new encounter. And then
With great skill and wisdom, he tells stories about his very unusual life and the lives of his
patients and grandchildren. And through his stories, he helps us to have faith in ourselves and
gives us tools to help us change old, habitual ways of looking at the world. Gottlieb offers wise
counsel on calming an unquiet mind, enhancing our relationship with ourselves and others, and
embracing the most important thing of all: love.
